If you need guidance on what plants to grow in your yard OR guidance on how to take care of the existing plants in your yard - I can help! If you want to grow your own food or start your own garden, I can help with that too! Together, we will discuss your plant preferences and create a plan tailored to your needs and goals. Let's create a thriving yard/garden that you can enjoy and benefit from. We will: Meet at your desired garden space. -Determine direction of sun / shade to garden & how many hours of sun your garden space gets, -Determine what plants you want to grow + where to get them from + when to plant them + how to take care of them, -Determine your garden container, -Determine what soil to use, -Determine amendments + fertilizer needed, -Determine irrigation / watering schedule, -Discuss organic/natural pest control measures Pricing $200 / first hour + $50 / every half hour after that or for follow ups I also offer garden maintenance. Message me with any questions. A little about me; I was raised in Ohio as a little country girl. I spent a lot of time outside and grew up riding and showing horses. I remember being in 4H and having to take a test every year on the crops and food that horses and livestock ate. From an early age I had an interest in plants. One of my first jobs was working on a CSA farm in Ohio during the summer. After graduating high school and moving to Arizona I started working at a local plant nursery while going to school for holistic healthcare focused in western herbalism and holistic nutrition. Going through the herbal program at SWIHA and working at the nursery taught me a lot about the plants that grow in Arizona & how to use them as food and medicine. A couple years after finishing my degree program at SWIHA I started working at a naturopathic college / drs office taking care of their medicinal garden and working with students there. I've also spent a couple years managing the garden at the Queen Creek Olive Mill to provide the kitchen there with fresh produce and herbs. Meanwhile I’ve always grown some plants & had my own garden at home. You can say I have a deep love and passion for plants. I love to garden, to cook, and take care of myself with food & herbs. And It brings me great joy to spend time in nature & to teach others how to grow their own plants, and make their own food and medicine.
