I hope you find this to be helpful. I will be adding more to this. Feel welcome to reach out with any questions (:

Cotton bra

Supplements:

Tincture for menstrual cramps: Wish Gardens Cramp Release or Herb Pharm Cramp Care

Magnesium to support hormones. I recommend magnesium biglycinate. Take 1 capsule before bed/ in evening.

DIM Detox capsules from Pure Encapsulations to detoxify excess estrogen from the body. Take 1 capsule 2x/day.

DGL Licorice - Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice supports a healthy stomach lining and gut flora. Can help digest heavy meals. Take this instead of tums. Chew 1 tablet before each meal, or as needed. Can be taken after heavy meals.

Cleaning:

Sals suds from Dr. Bronners for dish soap or as an all purpose cleaner, can even use to mop floors.

Distilled White Vinegar diluted with water - use as a cleaner for surfaces and window/mirror cleaner

Laundry Detergent: Molly’s Suds +  distilled white vinegar as softener

Kitchen:

Wooden or bamboo cooking utensils,

stainless steel, cast iron or ceramic pans.

Glass or stainless steel containers for storing food. Bamboo or wood cutting boards.

*Avoid plastic and teflon & nonstick pans

Beauty Products:

Make up: Toups & Co., Araza, River Organics, Plant Make Up

organic cotton pads - Rael

Toothpaste: Lumineux

Deodorant: Humble (at sprouts & on amazon), Wild Bruja’s Magnesium Deodorant Cream

Shampoo & Conditioner: Alfaffia, diluted apple cider vinegar as hair rinse/conditioner,  Acure, Everyone - (Everyone can be used as shampoo, hand, body, & face wash)

Hand soap/ Body wash:

This olive oil bar of soap made in Greece.

Or

Castile soap.  Alaffia, Dr Bronners, or Everyone are the brands I recommend. For hand soap you can use Everyone’s 3 n 1 soap as is or Dr Bronner's Castile soap diluted with water in a foaming hand soap container. Siphon Draw Apothecary also makes beautiful non-toxic bars of soap.

Moisturizer: Beef tallow, cocoa or shea butter or oils like jojoba, apricot, sunflower. I like jojoba because it’s the closest oil to our skin's natural sebum/oil and jojoba is a native plant in Arizona. Wild bruja has some lovely moisturizers for body + face.

Shea butter from Alaffia.

Jojoba oil from Mountain Rose , Pure Jojoba ,  or NOW on Amazon

For a face moisturizer I recommend beef tallow at night and jojoba & rosehip seed oil during the day. Rose water/hydrosol as toner. I also recommend oil cleansing with jojoba or olive oil or use castile soap if you want to wash your face with soap.

*I use a lot of unscented products because I don’t believe scent to be a necessary thing and because essential oils aren’t necessarily sustainably made. It takes a lot of plant matter to make essential oils. Although essential oils are made from plants (essential oils are a compound that exists in plants AKA terpenes or volatile oils), the level of  concentration of essential / volatile oils found in essential oils is not naturally found in nature/plants. This is why I look for beauty products that infuse whole herbs/plants and don’t use essential oils for the sake of making things smell good. Or you can easily make some things yourself. Like putting your citrus peels in your vinegar instead of adding essential oils to make it smell better.

*I also try to look for organic products because I’d like to know what I’m putting in or on my body is from a plant that hasn’t been sprayed, treated, or grown with chemicals.
